Not too long later, he formed The Sofa Sessions and the band has since performed at events such as Rock The World 7, Mont'Kiara Jazz and Rhythm Fest. Starbucks Music Series and Fete De La Musique. The Sofa Sessions released an EP, Five Songs, in 2006 and are currently working on a full length album.<br /><br />Apart from music that he has written for The Sofa Sessions and his own solo material, Ariff has had songs he composed used in advertisement campaigns and two compositions recorded by a Japanese rock band in Tokyo.
